The question seems to come down to whether Jimmy deserves a permanent ban for his immature behavior. Please keep in mind that Jimmy is 21 years old and is still capable of learning from his mistakes. He claims that he has learned his lesson and will not repeat the negative behaviors that he displayed previously. I don't believe that giving Jimmy the opportunity to prove himself will adversely affect our DG community. There will be plenty of people watching his every move and reporting things to staff and admins. I know I wouldn't want to live in that type of environment, but he is asking for this chance. Jimmy and I aren't even close friends, however I feel the need to advocate for him. Jimmy has apologized and knows what is at stake. Reduce the ban to something reasonable.

Also, I think it is a mistake to call Jimmy's behavior immature. It is several levels beyond immature.

Personally I have not seen a whole lot of Jimmy. But unfortunately what I have seen was a constant disregard for server rules and lack or respect for the admins. I was never there for the mic spamming but I have be there when Jimmy would jump into am illegal spot then taunt the admins with things such as "I'm in an illegal spot! Ban me!" and this would be repeated multiple times. And continue to do so until some form of action was taken, be it kicked, or now banned. Many warnings have been given and the behavior continued. As far as the punishment goes, I cannot really say one way or the other. Personally I would want a second chance, as anyone else would want the same, but to be a member of this community for some time and still blatantly break the server rules, I see this ban as an acceptable response.

Appeal decision:

Jimmy, you knew the rules. You broke them knowingly and repeatedly. You also encouraged others to break the rules. You went out of your way to disrespect and annoy players, members, and admins. You acted like a first class douchebag and caused havoc despite receiving many warnings. This type of behavior coming from a member is not acceptable, and not forgivable. You are permanently banned from the clan.

As for the CS:S perma ban, since you apologized and acknowledged your mistakes, I will reduce the ban. You did damage in the CS:S servers and we need a while in order to repair some of that damage. You are banned from the CS:S servers for 3 months.

Also, your next ban in any DG server will be instantly upgraded to a perma ban on all servers.
