Duskgamers Youtube?

I was talking to Hades, Zak, Mustache and Pac in the latest meeting and we came up with the idea of making a Youtube channel for Dusk. I thought it would be a great way to get Dusk some more publicity and a way for the community to share what they are doing with others in the community and the internet. Some of us are friends with some Youtubers and we could get a shout-out, especially as Mustache knows Luetin (https://www.youtube.com/user/Luetin09), and this could give Dusk the boost it needs.

I have a friend that can do video editing, I can make artwork via Photoshop, and all of the community members can create videos and upload them to the channel via a moderator (who would have control of the Youtube account and channel).

O yes Hades did already make the DG youtube channel with the name Duskgamers Clan (as duskgamers was already taken) and the links on the home page of the website in the social media tab, yeah thats pretty much the plan though so i just moved a simple and crappy Teamspeak tutorial to the channel so somethings there

We will probably do a per user deal where whichever member wants to do a recording and edit the video however they like will send it to the uploader who puts it on the channel, of course if a member needs help with editing stuff im sure someone can help when they have the time. Make sure as well if your sending a video in to be posted you include a text file with what you would like the video title and description to be on the channel

Of course all content will more than likely be reviewed first so try to make sure you dont let any sensitive info slip out in your videos in case we dont catch it, and that the videos have "reasonable" content so no racism or abnormally ridiculous obscenities the whole way through lol

We havent exactly decided how we'll set up the area members can post content to be uploaded but we'll get there

Yupp its new, i was hoping we could figure out some sort of singular uploading area for video files but i dont think its gonna work out very well, due to the average size of a good video of some gaming we probably wont be able to have a upload section to the forums / use the website as a median

So the easiest way is probably just for everyone to make a dropbox account or something to that effect, or if the video is under 5GB in size it can be sent through some free websites like filedropper.com , services like skype would most likely take to long to actually transfer so the 2 people would be locked in for a while, but ill see if we can figure out anything more universal for all members.

Ok it seems the easiest way we've found so far is to just transfer the videos through Teamviewer, which doesnt have to be installed so you can just run the file once and delete it right after, lol although not everyone wants to have someone connect to their pc to get a file which is understandable

So if Teamviewer is out then the best way is probably to have everyone make their own dropbox account or something similar so we can download the video file and post it in the DG youtube page
