ooo very nice but if your getting windows 10 home with it then may as well get the windows 10 pro instead, its usually only a little extra and theres more functionality and possibly less headache

and keep an eye out on your liquid cooled juuuust in case, its very nice at cooling but if theres any issues with it then it will be disastrous which is an issue im now dealing with too lol

Definitely keep an eye on the AIO water block/cooler. The pump on one of mine died. Always monitor your temps regularly with something like MSI's Afterburner.

The 7700K should idle around 30-40 Celsius and can reach 60-70 Celsius under load. It's not good to exceed 80 Celsius for long period.

I agree with Tom. Windows 10 Pro no questions. Forget the Home Edition.

I had Windows 10 Pro on my old system and when I compared the differences, I really didn't need those features. Not that it would have mattered, because Windows 10 Home is what came with his package. If I would have went with the custom build from IBUYPOWER website, it would have been much more money overall. The difference between Windows 10 Pro and Home as only +$31.00

That was the same story with the stock liquid cooler that came with the system. I will keep an eye on it and will most likely upgrade it within the next year, just to ensure I have a good quality liquid cooler. I was looking at the Corsair Hydro Series H60 120mm Liquid CPU Cooler, but will do more research when the time comes.

I did immediately swap out the sock ADATA 240 gig SSD C drive with the 512 gig Samsung 850 Pro. The specs are much better and I wasn't ready for the Samsung 960 Pro. I did that myself with the data migration cloning software. I kept the old SSD as a backup boot device just in case something happens.

I'm really please with the overall performance, but will look at upgrading the memory from 16 gig to 32 gig in the near future. I'm not sure if I need to and what speed would be best, this system is doing everything I need right now.

k if you already got it then it doesnt matter anyway but yeah not only the features in windows 10 pro, which i agree most people wouldnt use anyway, but more importantly its a more stable build where less code has been cut so you have less of a chance at issues with the OS and programs running, but yeah its not a big deal anyway it should run fine

the ram you have is fine so if you go 32 you can just get the same brand thats the right size, you probably wont need it though cuz i have 16 as well and planned to get 32 for shits and giggles but i barely use 4GB while playing unless im live streaming as well so ill probably wait till i build money for another system down the road and fill it, but the standard might be 64 by then XD or ram will have been phased out of the equation

o yeah a better liquid cooling system is always a good idea, personally i would go with a bitchin air based cooling system cuz i find they work fine in comparison and i just dont like worrying about thin pipes inside my pc containing liquid cuz if it malfunctions in any other way than the pump breaking then your whole pc is junk, of course they make them carefully and all so that doesnt happen yet i dont like to risk it, but the liquid can possibly help prolong the life of the cpu in general so their both good ways to go

hells yeah an extra drive is always useful lol

I upgraded the memory to 32 gig Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 2400MHz. I think that will be fast enough for my gaming purposes and can always upgrade to 3866 OC max for my motherboard down the road.

There is some benefit to faster memory, but it's not much, even for the 7700K.

32Gb is plenty of memory. If you're just gaming even 16GB is plenty.

Save your money, and only upgrade if you absolutely have to. Really interesting computers will be available later this year, and early next. The computer industry is changing quite fast right now.
